Crete,Heraklion 45 minutes tour

Your 60-minute helicopter tour will commence with take off from Chania Airport flying you over the historic city of Chania, where you will get to experience its romantic character, the Medieval architecture, crossing over its famous Venetian port. Prepare to be awed by the majestic views of the famous Gramvousa Island & Balos Lagoon where you will find one of the most impressive castles of Crete, built 137 m above sea level. Chania is famous for its superb beaches and you will get to experience them from above. Next on the itinerary is the Falassarna beach which has been voted as one of the top ten beaches in Europe and perhaps the best one in Crete, flying further towards the southwestern corner of Crete you will reach the Elafonisi beach, a fantastic white and pink sand beach with crystal clear, turquoise waters.
Soar over Agia Roumeli a unique village that has maintained its genuine Cretan heritage and a strong sense of character. The village is located in a remote area that can only be accessed by foot or a boat. You will also get to experience the stunning views of the Omalos Plateau from above. The Omalos Plateau is situated 38 kilometers south of Chania in the Lefka Ori (White Mountains) that occupy a large part of the centre of West Crete and are the main feature of the region. Further on you will cross the Samaria Gorge which is a major tourist attraction of the island and a World’s Biosphere Reserve. The gorge was created by a small river running between the White Mountains (Lefka Ori) and Mt. Volakias. Today visitors are recommended to complete the walk down the gorge from the Omalos plateau to Agia Roumeli.
